The season

Easter egg hunts, Easter Bunny photos, and the farm animals

Spring finally shows up in Kiowa and we celebrate it properly. Hunt for eggs, get your photo with the Easter Bunny, and meet the farm animals who have been waiting all winter for somebody to scratch behind their ears. The carrot cake donuts come out for this one only.

The questions we get most

Read the full FAQ

What animals are at the farm?

Southdown Babydoll sheep, mini donkeys, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Kunekune pigs and miniature Highland cows — including Merida, who is available for cow cuddling at $45 for a private 15-minute session, up to four guests.

Meet the Farm Friends

Do we need to buy tickets in advance?

Yes. Every ticket carries a waiver that has to be signed, so tickets are bought online whether you do it at home or on your phone at the gate. Doing it before you set off means you walk straight in.

What is included with admission at The Patch?

Nearly everything. One admission covers ice skating, including skate rental, on our synthetic rink — open in every season, not just winter. It also covers the corn mazes, the hay wagon ride, the barrel train, the jumping pillows, the giant slide, the low ropes course, straw mountain, the corn cribs, mini golf, games, photo opportunities and the Farm Friends barnyard.

The only things that cost extra are the ones you use or take home: paintball ammo, cow cuddling with Merida, the Easter egg hunt, and food.

Where is The Patch and how far is it from Denver?

The Patch is at 7400 SH-86, Kiowa, Colorado 80117 — a short country drive south-east of Denver and north-east of Colorado Springs, roughly an hour from either.

Parking is free, on pasture grass at the south end of the property.

Directions and map

Is The Patch open year-round?

No. The Patch opens for four separate seasonal events throughout the year, and we are closed between seasons.

Fall Festival runs September 19 to October 31, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays plus October 15 and 16. Christmas at The Patch runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 27 to December 27, 2026, closed on Christmas Day. Bunny Trails & Cow Tails is March 20, 21 and 27, 2027. Summer Nights is Saturdays from June 5 to July 31, 2027.

So there is a reason to come back through the year, but always check the season you are planning for.

How much does it cost, and are little kids free?

Fall Festival single-day admission is $27.95 per person. The Fall Season Pass is $49.95 for unlimited Fall Festival visits, and the 2026 Patch Passport is $64.95 and includes unlimited visits to both Fall Festival and Christmas at The Patch. Kids two and under get in free.

There are no ticket fees. Ever. The price you see is the price you pay. Every fall visit also includes a Patch Perk — a little extra that changes each weekend. Pricing for the other seasons is published on our ticketing page as soon as each season opens for sale.
